Served on the Rocks #3
Alright guys, good morning and welcome back again for week number three. We’ve got a nice sampling of chilled tunes here for you, so kick back settle in and zone out. First up we have a great track that I knew right away was destined for this post. The vocals carry you off to another place as the production introduces in new synth noises and lower bass lines. Truly a track to fade to. Give it a listen and check out the full post for more goodies.
Nosaj Thing – “Eclipse/Blue” ft. Kazu Makino
Don Diablo ft. Noonie Bao – “M1 Stinger” (Monsieur Adi Remix)
I wasn’t sure where “M1 Stinger” was going at first but it develops into a chune heavy on the bass and chill out vibes. Pretty cool vocal chops and some nice guitar-like synths later on.
Hermitude – “HyperParadise” (Flume Remix)
This Flume remix hops around relying mainly on vocal samples. A light chune, perhaps a little upbeat for this roundup but I dig it. Take a listen.
Cashmere Cat – “Mirror Maru”
“Mirror Maru” is a chilled out piano chune that has a light beat to it. Subtle synths and chopped vocals combine to create a really relaxed feel overall.
Ronald Jenkees – “Early Morning May”
Ronald Jenkees produces some truly incredible tracks. “Early Morning May” is one of the tracks off of his newly released album, Days Away. Great track from a well put together album.
